We are finally within destination of our new home. I say within, because we’re staying in a temporary home until we get our housing arranged.
We had a great trip up here, ”A” & “A” were great on the ride, 16 hours by the way.
Vacation officially over but we got to see my BFF, “V” and her new family.
I have been friends with “V” since before my 12 year old was born if that gives you a clue about the depth of the love we have for one another. If someone would tell you that you can’t have a long distance friendship, YES you can!
In fact, a lot of people who blog have online penpals and such and then others sit and question the validity of a “relationship” of even “friends” online. But this kind of friendship is very valuable.
Anyhooo. Thankyou a million times to “V” and her hubs “P” and their kids who are so beautiful. They hosted us over for 2 days prior to our arrival to our new home here.
The weather, a 50 degree springlike happy day. So far, the surroundings are happy too, with everyone we come in contact with having a MUCH different attitude than the people in California! They actually smile here, and I see why. This is an excellent post. I am praying for Doug to NOT have to go back to war within a year and for me to gain employment here on base.
Join us in prayer?
I am praying that everyone we know will also be blessed daily.
(((((hugs)))) sweetie.
P.S. Pictures will be forth coming once we set up permanent housing.
Things cool people say.....
