Like a purse spilled on the ground

writing blogs~ sometimes make me feel like I have been walking down the street in public and suddenly my purse is dropped and spilled all over the sidewalk.

Strangers see the contents of my life, starkly displayed, some rolling into the street.

Some things waving in the wind.

A woman’s purse is pretty much a metaphor for her life, for she carries everything in there that she practically will need.

While not my goal in life, writing this blog has been a bit like that dropped purse.

I’m a little embarassed about some of the things I say when I re~ read them but not embarassed enough to stop writing about something that someone may learn from.

By the way:  I never used to carry a purse.  I only did so because my husband finds it more feminine and he is shocked that there are females who don’t like to carry purses.  The contents of mine at this moment:

*battery charger to my camera

*floss and threaders

*plastic case with 3 OB tampons in it

*a pen

*a pencil

*my wallet with ID and 4 dollars in it

*hotel key

*2 change purses, one with pennies in it, one with the rest of the kinds of change in it

*2 barretts

*my watch

*a pair of chopsticks

*medicine, both prescription and extra strength Tylenol

* hair brush
