What do you believe in that is fake?

Are you, like my husband sitting there watching WWE, with all the attention given to something that is obviously sooooo fake? 

 The wrestlers throw punches that when looked at closely, never reach a face, or any other target. 

 Their flips and throws are orchestrated.

  Their between round dramas obviously theater, and not even GOOD theater! 

What motivates people to enjoy something that is so ludicrous and made up?  What do you believe in that is fake? 

I tried watching it with him, 

Unfortunately, I can only do this so often before I

a)vomit 

b)go upstairs and watch something else or

c) Lure him away from the t.v. by flashing my various lady lumps. 

 I asked him before, “Doug, you know wrestling is fake right?” 

 

He says, “I’ve been knowing that, but my dad took us to wrestling when we were little” 

 Whatever floats your boat mister!

Can I be happy for such an endeavor?  Happy yes, my son, the eldest child. 

I am happy for your choice.   

Happy you joined the Army.

Happy you will have a career doing something you love.

Money for college

Free health care

Iraq?  Fighting?  War?  I’ll have to cross that bridge when I come to it.  Since you are no longer the baby in the picture.  You don’t need my two cents.
