This was taken at the Crayola Crayon store in Kansas City. Little kids will love this store with it’s hands on kid friendly teaching tools, like this color wheel, that you are supposed to see “colors” magically appear in it when you spin it.
(and yes it IS Spinning in this picture)
It’s a trick of the eye. Behind it is the full spectrum color wheel of Crayons, which I also thought was cool!

Beautiful!
The spinning disc is weird. I stare at it & it’s kinda hypnotic like aliens or the CIA or Mr. Bean is trying to get inside my brain…
I’ve seen that type of disc before. When I used to train heavily for triathlons, we had rear disc wheels or wheel covers for aerodynamics. Most were black (hides grease easier) but one version had white cubes on it but when the bike was riding the wheel would start changing colors. Very cool.
I agree with Tony. Very hypnotic. I barked like a dog for five minutes and then played the banjo. This is very freakin cool and you did a stellar job!
My son loves the crayon store. Whenever he’s in KC visiting his aunt, he tries to stop at that store with his children.
that’s so cool! i feel like it’s one of those crazy emails i get from my dad that will make me see jesus if i stare at it long enough. super cool shot!
Very cool. I definitely get the motion, and the crayon color wheel is just badass.
YIKES! That totally works. It doesn’t look real and I’m with brooks on the crayon wheel. Yay crayons!
That looks like an optical illusion that wasadded on. What a great, clear shot. I want to go spin the wheel!!!!!
