Sunday Photo Essay~ The corner of Happiness and Freedom

  

Here’s to all who’ve gone before us, without whom, we couldn’t enjoy what we have today.  Enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed capturing them for you.

 

*a vintage Ford sits pretty at the annual Car Show.  To be in the car show, you don’t have to have vintage but most of them were.

 

*I’m sure most people couldn’t take their eyes off her.  She photographs well, dontcha think?

Sunday Photo Essay~Kansas State Parachute Club

Part of the excitement of 4th of July at Fort Leavenworth is having these men “drop in” for a visit, the Kansas State Parachute Club.

   I photographed a couple shots of the jumpers  last year but  this year,  they are part of the Sunday Photo Essay. 

 Thank You fellas for coming out to the post, and for being so kind.  You all are helping me gain much needed experience I need to follow my passion, which is photography.

*The evening was pretty breezy but it was all good.  They worked it.

 

 

*Touching the sky has got to be a rush for them! 

 

 

 

*One of the parachutists brings the flag with him.  It is always exciting to watch!

 

 

*we all remember those little plastic parachute men we played with when we were little… this shot reminds me of that. lol.

*Don’t worry! all is well here!  I absolutely love, love, love how this image turned out.  I think it is more dramatic in b/w. that is why I took the colors out.
