Okay, so I snuck away on vacation already.  But I’ll still be in the loop with running commentary and photos.  (How can I resist??)

  Life is not life without blogging right? 

     So I’ll just do one or two pictures every day, until I get back.   and then the rest, K? 

   Anyway the weather here?  It’s like getting off the plane into HELL….O!!!

.   I guess, my daughter warned me but I somehow tuned that part out!   

 Also, her car, it doesn’t really have A/C sooo… Yeah.  But life was good….no, life was GREAT, seeing her again. 

After having an awesome lunch together, we checked into our hotel.  Which is a historic 1800’s renovated hotel.  Very nicely redone.  Clean, comfortable and simply decorated.

  Charity and i slept like Queen and Princesss after talking by webcam to Doug and the girlz, who made funny faces for a good amount of time rather than doing any real talking with their sister. 

We drove over to see Charity’s dog Kinsey the Cockapoo.  This dog is ultra trained and smart, so we had fun playing with her. 

 My ex who works nights was fast asleep in the middle of the afternoon, so I had to really REALLY resist the urge to go into his room, and jump up and down on his bed and wake him up (he didn’t know I was in town) 

 but Charity wisely said that might not be a good idea.  lol.

  Ate dinner with Charity’s boyfriend/and boyfriend’s parents  at one of Charity’s place of employment.  That was just plain awesome.

  On the way back to the hotel, the summer wind blew through my hair into that A/C -less car and I relaxed and let it blow. 

 Just that moment alone with my daughter, roaring down the highway with the windows open, hair dancing around,  was worth the whole vacation.   I’ll be in touch.  Meanwhile, enjoy these:
