Special Photo Essay~Where the River flows

In terms of Photo ops,  I could start today and take pictures along the riverwalk for the rest of my life and never run out of ideas, or things to see. There are hidden things along the river, which turns and bends and has shadowy places to discover.  The river gives life, hides secrets, celebrates art, and romances the women.   Here’s some of what we found in the last few days.

*Not SOME beauty.  Beauty everywhere.  every turn,  every scene.

*San Antonio, is a unique city of artistry and history combined.

*Dinner for one, or dinner for many.  Look for more restaurants than you can handle eating at in one vacation.

*The buildings tower over and surround the river.

*Charity and I found this kitten hiding by a restaurant.  It wouldn’t come to us,  and it wouldn’t run away.  It’s Probably fed amazingly well.

*A stone tile mural on one of the walls downtown. It depicts the 5 missions in San Antonio that can still be seen today.  The Alamo is in the middle.

Tower of the americas

Tower of the Americas is a 750-foot (229 m) observation tower with a restaurant in San Antonio, Texas. Tower of the Americas, designed by San Antonio architect O’Neil Ford, was built as the theme structure of the 1968 World’s Fair, HemisFair ‘68

The tower was the tallest observation tower in the United States from 1968 until 1996, when the Las Vegas Stratosphere Tower was completed.

*no, Charity wasn’t scared.  She was being cordial by letting the other 3 people view the ride up from the window.  She’s been here already.
